- Peter, born in 1961,is a self taught artist who arrived in Australia from Poland in 1980. He has incorporated his European background and Australian surroundings into his vibrant oil paintings. He was taught various techniques from a young age by his father who specialised in classical painting. Peter manages to experiment with texture and colours often creating a theme as he goes. His style is individualistic, often changing in order to match the subject matter and is therefore reflected in the atmosphere, style and energy of his work. He does not impose his view upon the observer but instead allows them to be lead to their own conclusion.
